warna menembusi bahagian lain atas kain yang telah dicorakkan (Kheng, 2002).&#13;
Perkembangan awal batik di Malaysia dipercayai bermula di Kelantan dan Terengganu (Azmi&#13;
et.al, 2009, Yunus, 2011). Dalam kes Malaysia, kebanyakan pengusaha batik menetap di kawasan luar&#13;
Bandar. Oleh itu, sebagai industri luar bandar, batik mampu menyediakan peluang pekerjaan kepada&#13;
penduduk tempatan dan kemudiannya menjadi penyumbang utama kepada pendapatan isi rumah&#13;
masyarakat setempat (Redzuan and Aref, 2009). Walaupun batik adalah industri luar bandar, tetapi ia&#13;
boleh bertindak sebagai kain, kraf dan seni Malaysia pelbagai fungsi (Yunus, 2011). Oleh yang&#13;
demikian, batik telah diiktiraf sebagai produk warisan negara yang bernilai tinggi (Hairuddin, Md.Noor&#13;
and Ab.Malik, 2012; Mokhtar and Wan-Ismail, 2012). Sebagai produk warisan negara, melalui konsep&#13;

perkembangannya muncul sentra produksi baru kerajinan tersebut di kawasan Jambi kota (pusat kota / ibukota provinsi) sehingga kerajinan ini telah memasuki babak baru dalam kegiatan industrialisasi dalam ekonomi kreatif di Kota Jambi.&#13;
